My Approach To Movement…
Movement has always been part of my life, first with dance as a kid, then gymnastics as a teen, and later with yoga.
Yoga has anchored me through difficult times. It has been by my side as I lived in 3 different countries and as I traveled the world, and it has helped me through injuries, complicated pregnancy, grief, and eating disorders and helps me today in navigating life whilst being present.
Yoga always brings me home to myself, helping me to pause, accept my body, and accept myself as I am.
I’m trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, restorative, yin, perinatal, and children’s yoga and have been teaching since 2015. I first traveled to India to explore the classical roots of yoga, completing a 200-hour TTC in Rishikesh. Since then, I have completed over 500 hours of training and feel lucky to have trained with some of my favourite teachers and mentors.
My classes are accessible to all levels. My teaching style is embodied and focused on what feels good rather than what looks good.
Aiming to help people understand movement should be joyful and sustainable while teaching them the ability to nurture kindness and compassion towards themselves, giving them the tools to process emotions, self-regulate in times of stress, and bring ease into the exhausting and overly demanding world we live in,
I am passionate about rest and the impact of the nervous system on our well-being, and I’ve combined my favourite mindfulness practices here, for you to discover.
